I NEED TO BE NAKED?
If you dont want to be naked you dont need to. All the rides are as
bare as you dare.
HOW
MUCH WILL IT COST TO TAKE PART?
All WNBR's are Free to enter and take part in.
IS
IT LEGAL TO BE NAKED IN PUBLIC?
Police say the law states being naked in public is only an offence if
you are doing it to harass someone.
There is no offence of "Public Nudity"
any more than there is an offence of "Indecent Exposure" despite how many times
the press use that term and sometimes even the police, I say again; there is no
such offence. If there were how would the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) 'get
away' with it?
On paper it is perfectly legal to "walk around the street
naked", but very few do as society would deem it strange.
The Sexual
Offences Act 2003 'tidied up' a lot of law relevant to this and section 66 is
the part dealing with "exposing your genitals" in a public place. It is
designed to catch the flasher, not a Naturist - and those responsible for
wording this law are on record as saying this. S66 of the SOA requires that you
exposed your genitals with the INTENTION of causing someone alarm or distress.
It is not sufficient that someone claims to have been alarmed or distressed,
the prosecution has to prove that was your intention.

Offences Act
A person commits an offence if-
(a) He intentionally
exposes his genitals, and
(b) he intends that someone will see them and be
caused alarm or distress
There are no other laws that mention simple
nudity in public.
WHY
HAS THIS NOT BEEN BANNED?
The reply to this is easy the WNBR is outside the responsibility of
the goverment. The goverment are also on record as saying this.
HOW
BIG IS THE FOUR SEASONS REGION?
The Four Seasons region covers four counties in the UK
Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk and as far as we know is the UKs
biggest collective of World Naked Bike Rides.
WHAT
IS THE CORPS OF SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS?
The Corps of Support Volunteers also known as the C.O.S.V. is a
databass of people that Four Seasons can call on to help with the distribution
of flyers and posters and to assist with cleanup after any event or
protest.
WHAT
IS THE ROUTES ADVISORY SERVICE SAFETY ADVISORY GROUP?
The Routes Advisory Service Safety Advisory Group also known as
Rassag started in 2015 and was created to assist in the planning of cycle
routes and cycleways as well as advise on the event and protest safety. It's
important that each route is tested one week before each event or protest ride.
As most if not all of the ride management take part in other rides the week
befor it's not easy for the Four Seasons management to undertake this task so
Rassag does this for us on our behalf.WNBR LEGITIMATE & ILLEGITIMATE RIDE.
The general consensus of opinion is that we as legitimate World Naked Bike Rides can no longer accept any bike ride as legitimate that openly supports any other organisation or association that engages in criminal activity in the name of protest. This is the opinion of many rides around the world and was disgust at the international zoom meeting on the 25th February 2021. |
